One must remember that death records are not public records in the sense that one could request for the same at any time. If the person who desires the record is eligible to request for the records, then he or she should go to the actual location of the office and make the request there. This is because the department could not entertain request for the records made through mail, thus, a personal request is required. Note that while the person would be compelled to travel to the department, this walk-in personal request is actually faster because the records would, more often than not, be made available at the same day that they are requested for.
